Marina’s newest collaborative work “47 Years 1 Month 3 Days” will be on view in Rome at Auditorium Parco della Musica in connection with the Rome Film Festival.
The recipient of the 2017 Strategic 50 award is Marina Sagona, a visual artist working in a variety of media whose practice revolves around the concept of archetypes and stereotypes. She has been an illustrator for publications such as The New Yorker and the New York Times. Collaboration is an important aspect of Marina’s work especially in the themes regarding women and has been inspired by the writer and her friend, Jhumpa Lahiri. Marina’s newest collaborative work will be on view in Rome at Auditorium Parco della Musica in connection with the Rome Film Festival. Marina is Italian American and exemplifies the entrepreneurial spirit.
