Susan Wagner is a Consumer Strategy and Insights Executive with consistent success driving improved business results through innovation.
Most recently, Susan was SVP of Global Strategic Insights for the $16B Consumer Division of Johnson & Johnson. Prior to J & J, she held senior Strategy and Insights roles at PepsiCo, P & G, Gillette, ConAgra and Unilever.
At Johnson & Johnson, Susan built a global insights team that drove many innovations and new products in the skin care, oral care, women’s health and baby care categories.
At Pepsi, P&G and Gillette, Susan helped develop successful growth strategies, innovation pipelines and record breaking advertising campaigns, including the highly successful Duracell “Trusted Everywhere” campaign, beverage innovations such as Pepsi Throwback, and SoBe Lifewater sweetened with PureVia, and the breakthrough Venus and Mach3 shaving systems.
Susan is a thought leader in her profession, serving on the Executive Board of the Marketing Sciences Institute, The Advertising Research Foundation Board, the University of Massachusetts Advisory board, and as a David Ogilvy Advertising Award Grand Prize judge. Susan is also a frequent speaker at industry events.
Since 2004, Susan has also served as a Corporate Director on the Board of Courier Corporation, the 3rd largest book U.S. book manufacturer, and is a member of their Nominating and Compensation committees.
